Paring tra BlackBerry e BT auto: l’utility di RIM

Sempre più autoveicoili integrano dei sistemi vivavoce bluetooth da integrare con i propri telefoni. Per semplificare l'operazio di paring direttamente dalla RIM arriva una utility dedicata "purtroppo" solo a 4 vetture :

• Jaguar KX
• Land Rover LR2
• Volvo S80 e V70

Per poter usufruire dell'applicazione sarà sufficiente scaricare in OTA o da browser (solo Internet Explorer) da QUESTA pagina l'utility e quindi seguire le semplici istruzioni. Le indicazioni da seguire saranno in lingua inglese e molto simili a quelle che riportiamo qui di seguito:

The following steps use the Land Rover as an example.Place the vehicle into pairing mode. For instructions, see the vehicle user manual.Start the Bluetooth® Pairing Helper application. See links above.The following message appears on the BlackBerry smartphone:Please initiate the pairing process on your car. Click 'Done' when pairing is completeOn the vehicle, press the Dial button.The following message appears on the Land Rover, and the progress bar on the Bluetooth Pairing Helper Application begins to advance:SearchingThe Land Rover display lists the name of the BlackBerry smartphone (and any other Bluetooth devices found within range). This may take one or two minutes.On the vehicle display, use the dial to highlight and then select the BlackBerry smartphone.The vehicle displays a random personal identification number (PIN) to pair.When the BlackBerry smartphone prompts for a PIN, type the PIN shown on the vehicle display in step 8 and press Enter.The BlackBerry smartphone displays Pairing complete. Connect to and press Yes.Pairing completes and an Connection to vehicle succeeded should appear on the BlackBerry smartphone.If the Bluetooth Pairing Helper application does not close, click Done to close the application.
